Common symptoms

  • ABS warning
  • Stability-control warning
  • No ABS intervention
  • Multiple brake-system faults

Likely causes

  • Low voltage
  • ABS pump motor failure
  • Relay or fuse fault
  • Corroded wiring or module connector

First checks

  • Test battery and charging voltage
  • Check ABS fuses, relay, power, and ground
  • Run an ABS pump activation test with proper diagnostics

Important

Brake-system faults affect safety systems; verify the hydraulic and electrical diagnosis before driving aggressively.

A fault code identifies a detected condition, not a failed part. Confirm manufacturer-specific subcodes and live data.
