U0415: Invalid data received from ABS control module

Another module is receiving implausible or corrupted data from the ABS or stability-control module.

Common symptoms

  • ABS warning
  • Stability-control warning
  • Reduced driver assistance
  • Multiple network codes

Likely causes

  • Wheel-speed sensor fault
  • Low system voltage
  • ABS module power or ground issue
  • CAN wiring fault

First checks

  • Scan all modules and compare fault timing
  • Check wheel-speed data while moving
  • Test ABS module power, ground, and CAN wiring

Important

Invalid-data codes often point to the source module or sensor data, not automatically the module reporting the fault.

A fault code identifies a detected condition, not a failed part. Confirm manufacturer-specific subcodes and live data.
